Ultra D Locksafe Carabiner

Description

The DMM Ultra D Locksafe carabiner is a uniquely versatile climbing carabiner. The shape in-between an Ultra-O oval shaped carabiner, which is perfect for pulleys and aid climbing, and a common offset D shape which we climbers often use for pretty much everything else. This makes it perfect for many applications and in fact, apart from belaying, you can use the Ultra D for pretty much everything else. 

 

The "D" shape is stronger than an oval, yet still gives you a predictable and more centred load. The DMM Ultra D Locksafe is perfect for lanyards, general connectors, anchors, and if needed can stretch into use with pulleys or aiders so make a great backup or rescue kit option for those applications.
