Revolver LockSafe Carabiner - Climbing Hardware

Description

The DMM Revolver Lock Safe carabiner is a functioning piece of kit in rescue situations, wandering routes, roofs, bulges or when run out on a marginal gear placement. At the crag or in the mountains a couple of these DMM Revolvers could save you from a world of pain. Less friction, more upward progress. The "Lock Safe" gate version is particularly useful for rescue as it is quick and auto-locking. It's easy to use with gloves on (sometimes even more-so than the screw gate) so is definitely worth adding to a cravasse rescue kit. 

Because the pulley wheel is built into the carabiner, it also means that you don't have to cart extra bulk and weight up the cliff that you wouldn't be taking anyway. Hence as a rescue set-up it is a really lightweight way to go about it either for multi-pitch climbs or mountaineering.
