The Petzl Pirana Club is an abseil descender purpose built to be simple and easy to use. Because of this it is great for beginners but also it's just perfect for those more experienced canyoners who don't want all the frills.  This model features even better capacity to add friction so it's' suitable for a range of applications. The Petzl Pirana Club can be configured to different levels of braking friction which is perfect for varied width ropes, wet or dry ropes, when you're carrying extra weight like a back pack.
