The La Sportiva Mandala is the latest addition the the No-Edge family of performance rock climbing shoes. Where over the last couple of years all the brand new models seem to be geared towards the indoor bouldering end of things, the Mandala is dedicated to the whole world of modern performance climbing and in particular outdoor sport climbing. It offered more toe support and power than some of its uber soft friends for those tiny crimp holds outside while still being amazingly sensitive and able to smear. 

Now a well known feature, the No-Edge construction delivers more contact surface area of rubber onto small ripples and holds. This in turn gives better friction when on questionable foot holds. We've also found that because there is no rubber join on the front of the shoe, and there is no corner, the No-Edge design has proven very durable for this performance class of shoe. 

Overall, the Mandala is designed for modern climbers who demand maximum precision in heel hooking and toe hooking with ultra-grippy XS Grip rubber. Minimal thickness offers high sensitivity and precision on demanding routes. The No-Edge® system and P3 technology ensure optimal performance on any type of foot holds - but especially the minging ones.
