Description
The Katadyn BeFree Water Filter is an ultralight filtration system designed for hiking, trail running, and travel where carrying large volumes of water isn’t practical. It allows you to refill from natural sources and drink immediately, reducing pack weight on longer or remote outings.
Using a hollow fibre filter with a 0.1 micron pore size, it removes bacteria, cysts, and sediment from untreated water. The fast flow rate of up to 2 litres per minute makes it easy to drink directly from the flask or transfer water quickly when on the move.
The soft flask construction packs down small when empty, saving space in your pack. Maintenance is simple, with the filter cleaned by shaking or swishing in water, removing the need for backflushing or tools.
