They are tough enough to keep out those annoying rocks, prickles and other debris but are made out of two of Outdoor Research's lightest and most protective fabrics - Their tried and tested Ferrosi soft shell and their amazing ActiveIce fabric. 

ActiveIce actually cools you as you sweat in it, it's like a Fisherman's Friend but for your skin. The Ferrosi fabric is tough, water resistant and has good stretch. This makes the Ferrosi Hybrid Gaiters perfect for hiking or even trail running in demanding conditions.
